Today, at very early morning, I went out to attend the ‘The Art of Living ‘ workshop with one of my friends. The workshop was amazing and informative. I learnt a simple yoga technique and how to breathe deeply and effectively. The organizers’ behavior was very patiently kind and thoughtful. I hope I can improve my knowledge about being healthy and stress-free.
Recently, I have realized the environment where we grew has a lot to do with the way which we dealing with a situation or reacting. These built-in techniques we apply in response to a situation is derived from parents’ behavior and culture. We cannot blame people for their attitude which maybe awkward for us. Therefore when making decision about our partner for marriage, this should be significantly into consideration. It is seriously challenging for people to change their attitudes and beliefs.
Moreover, during arguments, it is more effective to use I messages instead if you messages, Because negative or destructive you-messages directly disparage the other side in an intense way which evokes their emotions aggressively and hostilely. As a result, it is better off expressing our feelings appropriately and courteously and pay heed to them. In a disaster, we can either stick to being right or a problem-solver. Only, the latter can deal successfully with a calamity and distress.
