The marks on my neck look like bruises. I'm sure I'd be put in some kind of institute if they were bruises. The marks make me smirk whenever I look at a mirror, they make me think back to that day. Seems like just minutes ago I was laying on top of him, teasing him with my soft lips. His mouth was clamped onto my neck when I was on the phone with her. A slight moan escaped from my behind my lips, but I covered it with a cough when she asked me what I was up to.
"Just watching TV at her house," I lied.
"Well, don't go anywhere your mother doesn't know about," she warned, sure I wasn't doing what I said I wasn't going to be. Well, she was right for the moment.
"I know, grandma. It's not like I'd do that anyways," I smiled. He backed away from my neck then, standing and walking in front of me. He kissed my lips then, pausing for a second while I got lost in the words that the woman was saying to me.
He pulls back so I can answer her question. "What?" I asked, as if I didn't her hear.
"You're so innocent," he whispered, kissing me once more before leaving the room.
That day was beyond amazing. I could've laid in his arms forever listening to that song. It just felt so right being there with his arms wrapped protectively around me. I can still remember the words that were coming from the speakers of his iHome.
"...I'd like to take the time to love your body. Rub your body, kiss, and hug your body. Girl say ooh ooh I Like, ooh ooh I Like..."
I found that my eyes were closed, a smile on my face. I lifted my lids slowly and began staring at the blank page before my eyes. My hand was resting on my shoulder, the marks just inches away. Suddenly, my door opened and I was rushing to take my hair down. I covered the mark with ease, a sigh of relief coming from inside because it was only my kitten pushing her way past the door to enter my room.
My phone buzzed at my side, showing your name clear on my screen. My smile grew, I was happy that you were thinking about me the same time I was thinking about you. I reached for my phone, holding it in my hand and sliding the screen up. The words that were written make my heart beat faster. "I need to ask you something. In person. Care to see me again before Monday?" At that moment, I knew I was no longer going to be single. I was happy to be ridin' the Kyle train down to paradise island.
