My jaw dropped as I heard him say those words. That was not supposed to happen. He was supposed to running and screaming, never to enter our house again. That was idealistic. But not happening. "Good! I'm glad to have you on the team!", my father rejoiced, "Selene will show you the ropes, and introduce you to the rest of the gang, they are upstairs I believe." I started to walk up the stairs, not looking back, hoping that maybe he would realize he really shouldn't follow me and leave instead but to my dissapointment I heard the footsteps behind me. Once I reached the top of the steps I turned left down the hallway and walked to the last door on the right and walked in. There sat my closest friends and some of the best young art thieves of our generation. On the computer was Collin; the geekiest person I knew. He could hack a survallance system in seventy seconds flat, and can hack into any government systems that may need their files changed. His shaggy blonde hair and thick framed glasses completed his look of a geek, geed he may be, he is a great friend and reliable. Lila was small, not only in height but weight as well. Her auburn hair was always covered with a black beanie cap that she was never without. She could slip in and out of anywhere, small spaces and elevators were her specialty. Jesse and James were the twins of the opteration, identical too. Their dark hair and light eyes made them great distractions to ladies, and were the perfect weapon for switching them out and causing confusion. And then there was Carter, this newbie, brown hair with brown eyes. Boring. He had no place here, and never would; his only skill was being able to identify a forgery or not, which doesn't really help us considering we are the forgers! "Guys...this is Carter", I adressed the group, "and he is now part of our crew." I was greeted with looks of surprise and horror. "Who made that decision Selene? You all by yourself?" Obviously Jesse did not like this, well that was good, I could use him on my side later then. "No. It was Michael's." The room was silent. Carter stepped forward, "Hi guys, I'm excited to get to know you guys and to start working with you. I think this is going to be really good."

Lila likes him right away as does Collin. The twins can't stand him and neither can Selene.
