First day just want to use this as a journal.
Making attempts to change my life again. MC contact with people etc.
Finding difficult to make chages biggest issue is that I am acting lazy. Starting to realize that has been an issue in my life for a long time.
Hooked up with cousin Terry last night first time in 5 years we have talked. it bothers me that he is still the same guy he was 20 years ago. he never really grew up. His choice I guess but it is sad. I do not know why that bothers me, it just does.
He is like talking to a kid. So set in his ways. as my whole family was. uneducated but opinionated. That is ridiculous. How can people who are so ignorant have oppinions that matter? Better how can they possess any weight? It does not make sense.
It seems the entire brood from that side of the fence, that is my mothers side, were nothing but trailer trash, backwood, hillbillys living in an urban setting. Why did they just not go back to the hills, squirt out a bunch of pups make moonshine whiskey and fuck their cousins...I will never know. It seem silly that they even exist.
What makes it even more unfathomable is that I am positive that I am not the only person on this earth with kin of this nature. They proliferate the world and are the ones that keep Jerry Springer, Oprah Winfrey, Waffle House and many others in business. Damn, when you think of the average IQ level it is staggering. Average IQ is about 100. That means the majority of the people you meet are....well average in intelligence. I think more concerning is that what is their emotional IQ...That was a big thing a few years ago. I assume that the bell curve is the same though given the same grading scale the average person would be a 100 on the EQ scale. Put them both together and you have average Iq...average Eq makes for a very boring ignorant person..
So maybe the interesting people you meet are the ones that either have a low IQ and hi EQ or vise versa or a number of other options. low both would be really cool. High both would be fucked up. I would love to meet that person. Would they be like the dali lama or budda or something?
