Compositional Sophistication

My efforts at compositional sophistication are frequently misguided. Simplicity is key.

A Deviation from the Established Norm: (Modified 12/22/10)
One should feel content for their fellow colleagues when they accomplish something monumental; or achieve a feat of great magnitude. This is supposedly the fundamental principle of all human partnerships; however, I am going to deviate from established principle and declare my relative melancholy for events that have transpired recently.
When one is involved in an alliance, one must devote themselves entirely towards the advancement and cohesiveness of said alliance (as one often inhabits a hostile environment); for in accordance with the old adage, individuals of a certain constitution readily consort with individuals of similar constitutions; in order to maximize results and formulate reality and the vicissitudes of life to their liking; although this principle may seem benevolent; in all actuality the principle is merely ambivalent, easily swayed in either the name of benevolence or malevolence; for this adage formulates the basic reason as to why this hostile environment is primarily established; this singular principle lies extant in a seemingly improbable paradox (predicament); for these two forces (benevolence and malevolence) are in constant conflict with one another; thus establishing the foundation for such hostility, which is ultimately detrimental and not (nor) conducive to the advancement of the societal unit.
Nevertheless, I shall make a diminutive deviation from the established norm and declare my relative melancholy for some events that have transpired recently. Individualistic triumph has been sacrificed for the vice of collectivism. If one is to appear farther than the rest, one's accomplishments are significantly diminished to acquiesce towards the established societal norm.
The level of my intellectual ability is frequently misunderstood by others, simply because I refuse to aspire to meager levels of mediocrity. The level and the audacity of my superior intellectual acumen is beyond the level of simplistic comprehension; therefore, my accomplishments are not recognized nor regarded as significant, due to th fact that it cannot be deciphered. Equitably, I refuse to quell my insistent desire to demand more of life. I shall not modify my own constitution simply because the circumstances are not to my liking. The circumstances must modify themselves to conform to my own viewpoint. I reiterate that one formulates their own reality, yet one may indulge themselves in harmless fantasy when the reality one has formulated in unappealing.
The alliance that is manifested in these three individuals has accomplished feats of relatively great magnitude; nevertheless, it is my indefatigable belief that my accomplishments are overlooked for those of mediocre individuals. Does no one hold me and what I have done sacred anymore? Others have devalued my accomplishments; they have subsequently removed my passion from the performance of such academic tasks.
This has consumed me in a way similar to a fire consumes a forest, when given the proper stimulation. Ultimately, one cannot depend on others to establish a veritable sense of contentment; one must be individualistic in their academic pursuits. I do not speak of treachery in the alliance; I speak of a modification of attitude. If the environment mandates that one be hostile, then one by all means should somewhat equitably follow suit. If one does not possess the mental capacity to overcome such obstacles, then one should declare themselves meritorious and worthy of victory; one should be victorious. I have come to the realization that the criticisms and comments of others contain no merit; internal pride and persistence negates their irrationality of their argument.
Collectivism is nevertheless important; however individualistic triumph is an equitably significant aspect. One should maintain themselves and retain their own identity for fear of becoming a homogenized product. The advancement of the alliance is significant, but it should not be its only initiative. The advancement of the three individuals that constitute said alliance should its only initiative.
