What I See In The Mirror
I see a girl. A young one. Not pretty nor ugly. She hurts inside but she has to hide that pain for fear she will lose her friends because they want nothing to do with a sad, depressed person. She cries herself to sleep sometimes. She's been lied to. She's been smashed into peices. Music is the only way she can cope. She's scared. She misses being young, when she had no care in the world. A boy said he loved her, but that was not the truth. He soon found another girl, one that craved attention. One that was loud so that people would turn and look. Though the look in his eyes still long for the other girl, the one he lied to, to hold his hand, he never leaves the loud girl. The other girl dosn't know why. She misses him. She can't stand that he lied. It is obvious that the boy wants the other girl back, but he dosn't talk to her for fear of rejection. If he did, then it would all be perfect. But nothing's perfect.
