The girl walked slowly along the street. It was pouring softly while the wind blew mercilessly in her hair. But she could care less at the moment. The cars were passing by quickly, like bullets, in comparison with her big yet slow steps. Her long, brown strands were swaying like Medusa's snakes. She looked at her right. The dirt under her feet represented the borderline between two wildnesses: the first one was that of humans, the asphalt was leading to a massive city jungle; on the other side was the forest, which gave off an eerie feeling because of the night.
Two blinding lights came extremly fast towards her. She squinted her eyes; it was a noisy truck. The rather skinny female looked instinctively up at the midnight blue sky. Surprisingly, the silver Moon was surrounded by many glimmering dots. She smiled. She loved stars, very much. She used to gaze at them every night, on the deck of the backyard lake with her father. He told her many stories about those fireflies of the heaven.
As she was recalling beautiful memories, a sudden ray of light appeared, looking like a smalll, white rainbow. It was a shooting star! She made a wish upon it quickly and ran towards it. At some point, she turned right, entering the forest. Leaves were falling all over the place, in her hair and on her clothes. Unnoticeable branches scratched her rosy cheeks. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest; she could hear it over the sound of the wild wind.
Her eyes lit up, her smile was more lively. She had something in mind, something good. Although she could hardly breathe and her knees threatened to give up on her, she didn't stop. She kept going at full speed, ignoring the cold. She could barely feel the pricks of the sharp waterdrops. The crazy wind scattered the pouring rain. But she was already soaked. Something ahead of her made her quicken her pace. She was close to her target seemingly. What could that be, though? Ah, those sparks in the dark. They lead her way all this time and she was about to find out what those were.
One last jump and she was out of the forest. She breathed in and out heavily, fixing her stare on something in front of her. A streak of water was flowing calmly; it explained the glowing. A figure clad all in white was sitting on the river side, with his fingers entwined while his elbows rested on his knees. He seemed to be enjoying the nightview. The new visitor walked to him, sitting down casually. She leaned on him and he brought his left arm to her shoulders. His whole being was surrounded by a breathtaking silver light. It enveloped her as well and they both melted into it. Glittering ashes landed softly on the ground after they disappeared. Another star created a white, small rainbow as it fell across the night sky.
