The Imporantance of Presence
Live for the present, as it is the only place that you can ever truly be. This moment, as in this very second, is who you are and where you are and what you are all at the same time. Its quite profound if you think about it. At any fraction of a second you could be someone completely different. Think about your emotions, your stature, you thoughts, and being- it's never truly the same from one moment to the next. Evolution of the mind from minute to minute, rebellion of self from day to day. I love to think about how I have changed over the years. I love to think about how the perception of not only others but myself is never what I expect and/or remember it to be. They say that first impressions are everything, but are they really? How often is my first impression of a person entirely correct? I can't even tell you how I am going to be on a hourly, let alone daily, basis.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Don't let your being stay stagnant. Grow with the moment. Learn with the time. Be who the present needs you to be. Be you.
