Why is it so dark out? Last time I checked it was very early on in the day and now it seems so dark. I checked the forecast and it said that the weather would be amazing for the next couple of days. I find it odd...but then again, not quite so. Living where I am living that is to be expected. Why everything can change at the drop of a hat, and I know it...yet still I frown. I love my home. No other place could be as good of a home as this one is for me. I sit back down and ponder. I wonder what has gotten her so blue, so I trend a bit higher up and peer around the corner to see what Evo is doing. She was sitting down alone, with her hands folded in her lap. I walk over to where she sat and put a hand on her shoulder.
"What's wrong with her this time" I ask quietly.
"Ah the usual...her friends are all out and to busy for her...she sulks to much. I want her to smile more." Evo replies with a sad attempt at a smile. Out of us all, I think Evo has it the worst. I wander off blowing a kiss to Evo to try and settle things internally...although most of my attempts are failed...this time I felt a twinge of hope just as I made my way out of view.
"Coni!" Ingra yelled in suprise. "I haven't seen you in days."
"Well I have been put out of work is all" I say with a grin. "That girl I tell you will grind us to dust."
"Nah, I don't think so...just an angsty teen is all. We do what we can to keep her going strong. We've made is thus far so I'm sure we will make it to adulthood."
"As great as that sounds, once she reaches adulthood we won't be of much use now will we?" I questioned.
"Now don't go writing us off just yet. We don't know anything but what is happening now...so live for the moment."
"You've been listening to Hawthorne Heights again haven't you?" I giggled.
"Ha, ask Evo...its all she have been listening to...you are the only one who can block it out Coni."
I smile and turn on my heals to bid my farewell and add
"We ought to stay together you know...I think with group effort we can make a difference"
Ingra just smiled and nodded. Later I would make sure my statement became law.
