A Day In the Life 11/15/10
Alrighty then, so I'm not exactly sure what to write. I think I will treat this as a journal of sorts. I shall fill it with stories of my life, and possibly some poetry and creative things like that. I do love poetry very much, as I do all forms of creative writing. I have titled this page as A Day In the Life, followed by todays date. I plan on doing this for all of my writings on this site. And yes, that title is very much inspired by the Beatles song of the same name.
I do love the Beatles very much. I love all music, and all musical things. A musician am I, as well a music lover and listener. The Beatles are my favorite band, followed by Green Day. However, now that I think of it, Green Day and Weezer are actually tied up for the second spot. I have enjoyed Weezer a great deal more lately and have been listening to them more frequently than Green Day. So, for the sake of being decisive, I name Weezer my second favorite.
My girlfriend, Maddi, began writing these the other day and told me about it. I took a look and logged in yesterday, but did not write anything. Today though I got an email and decided to log on again. At this point I was presented with a predominantly white and blank page on my computer screen. At the top I was told by some text to start typing in this page, and that my work will save itself for me. I thought how dandy of my work to save me the work of saving.
Ah, speaking of my girlfriend, whom I mentioned in the previous paragraph. She is absolutely wonderful, and I adore her greatly :). Hmm, I wonder do people edit these? And will these be saved in a list for me to easily access and read at a future date? I hope they are saved, and as far as editing goes I'm sure if someone does edit it they will find my grammar atrocious and terribly incorrect. I hope they leave that smiley face I placed up in that sentence about Maddi. I really love the way she spells her name with only an i. Its quite dandy. I can never figure out if im supposed to put an apostrophe in its. I know its there sometimes. I am unsure though if it is when its a "it is" or when it is possessive. Of course that sentence is filled with "its" and "it is"'s. Now a break in writing, to do my laundry that I've let pile up to just above my belly button. I am 6'3". I need clothes.
Damnation, my aunt is using the laundry machines. Hopefully I have clean pants for tomorrow. Damnation? that's interesting. My dad says that, and so I say it was well. I guess its sort of like saying dammit. Oh! Party Down, by Reel Big Fish, just came on my iTunes. Such a wonderful song, I love Reel Big Fish. Their music is happy, dandy music. I had more to write about before I went off on a mission to do laundry that I had failed. But it has slipped my mind. I look forward to writing tomorrow!
