Just write something. Just do it. So what if there's no point? The act of creating is its own reward. The only way you'll get better at writing is if you practice.
"But I can't think of anything to write," you say. "I feel like I have to spin gold whenever I put my fingers to the keyboard!"
That's where you're wrong. You need to start somewhere. Authors go through drafts after drafts after drafts before they even consider presenting their work. It's not going to be perfect on the first try. Nothing's perfect, anyway. Anything worthwhile will be hard work.
Just write because you like to write. That's all. Don't give a tin shit what anyone else thinks. Do it for you.
