I remember things being better in my childhood. The economy was greater. My mother was a stay-at-home mom, so I got to spend more time with her. She was the greatest and most inventive a mother ever could be. Her and I used to go on daily adventures out into the woods, looking for anything new and exciting to add to our photo album. We had an album full of pictures. Any little, tiny, minuscule thing that we saw that was of some interest was either picked up and carried with us, or captured forever on film. Once we got home, these would be added to our book. It was wonderful spending time with my mother. I remember baking with her in the kitchen, making all sorts of goodies. Peanut butter cookies were my favorite! I could not take the time to wait for the cookies to bake, I absolutely had to eat some of the dough first, sneaking a taste of the sweet, peanuty goodness.
