Yesterday, the 28th was an unusual day..
• I babysat Beverley for 3 and a half hours and earned $30.. I was tired though and a bit bored..
The whole time I sketched some bad fashion figures, read national geographic (I should get a subscription), and read my Lucky magazine..
Sometimes people do things absentmindedly and if I see a repeated action it's kind of soothing.. Beverley was petting her dog, Yuly? Not sure if that's how you spell it but she was petting her dog with her foot and the thing was my mind felt relaxed..
• Washed dishes before taking the bus to Bel Square and while reaching to the side, my earphones were ripped out of my ears because the cord was stuck on one of the drawer handles.. Thus breaking my left earphone.. Ahh!!!!!!!
• Took the bus to Bellevue transit center (Bellevue square), and it was such a long ride! In between I ate my pb&j sandwich
• At Bellevue Square I headed to American Eagle and returned my summer romper and turned in my application.. But the lady told me there were already enough people working but that she'd keep my application on file..
• Dejected, I bought a McChicken. It was good I guess.
• Walked to Macy's to go back to Bel transit center, and this old lady with an accent asked me to hold her as she took a step on the escalator with me and I did.. She thanked me and I felt good, but I wonder if I did it to look good? I still question my motives..
• From the transit center to mercer island p&r, I was waiting for the bus when this guy with old ray bans started up a conversation.. He was on the same bus as I was and here's what I found out about him:
○ From Arizona but recently moved here
○ Visiting or living with grandma who lives in South Mercer Island
○ Has an old red phone
○ Smokes
○ Works at Starbucks (in Bellevue I think?)
He seemed to want to talk although I tried not to, because I don't like talking to strangers.. Seemed nice enough I guess.. He knows I live in Sammamish but that's all he knows. The funny thing was when his bus came and he said "nice meeting you" and I said it back and he shook my hand and in his other hand he had a lighter and cigarette (EW), I am so glad he didn't smoke in front of me..
That wasn't the funny thing. The funny thing was after he said, as he was walking towards the bus, "well I guess I'll never see you again" and I said "yeah, bye!" Haha. I wonder if I was rude :/
• Overpaid the bus driver because I thought it was a sound transit, I am pretty mad still.
• Check into bank.
• Went to Mercer to ask about open jobs for Summer or Fall but got rejected.
• So depressed that I stormed about the house with heavy feet and slamming doors. Read the bible, haven't in a long time, and asked God to help me trust him..
