Girl
She stood at the edge of the pier, the water reflecting the sun onto her soft skin so that the light danced across her skin. A faint smile forming on her mouth as the wind gently wove through her hair. Her deep blue eyes glancing through the golden curls with an open wonder.

Gently she let her jacket fall off her shoulders so she could feel the wind against her bust. She took in a deep breath of the evening air, her tight clothes showing of the curves of her body. Her legs bent ever so slightly as she curled her bare toes over the edge of the pier.

That is how he would always remember her. Not that he knew her nor would he ever. He had only glanced her in passing. But in his darkest hours he would look back on that girl and smile. Remembering that there is something truly beautiful in the world.
