It was a hot January Saturday evening, and I Caitlynne Rae White was in Australia, well, Sydney Australia actually. Me and my family decided to come this year for vacation. I'm graduated so we didn't have anything holding us back. And it felt like a dream, I was in a beach parking lot sitting on my Red jeep reading a book. I had on black cut off shorts a white tank top with a big black cross on it and my black low top converse. I took my hair out of the messy bun it was in. It looked especially good today cause I just redyed it red yesterday morning.
"Hey! You okay?" My sister Jenna asks walking up to me with two Popsicle's in hand.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just spacing out. So, how was the Ice cream shop?"
"Busy. But okay. I got you grape. Is that okay?"
"yeah I don't mind." I said honestly.
"So! How did you like the concert last night?" She said jumping up onto the hood of the jeep with me. "We were in like the 5th row right?"
"It was amazing. And yeah 5th row." I said trying to remember.
"Ellington is soooo hot!" She gushes dramatically.
She's taking about Ellington Ratliff. The drummer from R5. They are an all sibling band except for Ratliff. There is Ross the lead singer, Rydel the Piano player, Rocky lead guitarist, and Riker the bassist. They are on tour right now and played a show here in Sydney last night. It was like I said, Amazing. I honestly felt like Ross was singing to me the whole time. And then there was what happened after the concert. I remembered back to last night.
Ross sang while looking right into my eyes.
"You can change your hair five times a week, You can change your name, get a little bit crazy. You can dance in the rain rocking secondhand chic. But I live for the day that I'm calling you baby cause I'm fallin' for you and everything you do. Baby I'm fallin' for you. You might be crazy but baby I'm fallin' for you."
After the concert me and Jenna waited around for a while for everyone to leave. We thought maybe the band would come out and talk to us but they didn't.
"Hey, we should get going Jen." I say.
"You're right. It's getting late. lets go."
We head out the front door and go between an alley way to the back of the building to a parking lot where my car was parked.
I accidentally bump into a hooded figure who was leaning against the wall.
"Oh! Sorry. My fault!" I say apologizing.
"It's okay. No big deal." A guy says with a strained voice. It sounded like he had been crying.
"Hey are you okay?" I stop and ask sincerely. I felt like I recognized his voice so I decided I was going to see if he was okay.
