"Well, what do you wanna do today?" he asked, looking at me with curiosity. As always, I was taken aback by the beautiful color of his eyes, which change. At the moment, they were a blue green, streaked with yellow. Gorgeous.
"I dunno. There's really nothing TO do around here... it's so damn boring," I replied, shrugging, and looking back out at the beach. I pulled my knees up to my chest and rested my chin on them, staring at the gentle waves rolling in. I thought of the last time we were here, and started to laugh quietly.
"What's so funny?"
"Ha, I was just thinking about last time..." I trailed off, still laughing.
"PUDDING!" he shouted, earning a few strange looks from people passing by. I just laughed harder.
"I still can't believe that you laugh every time I say that," he said, shaking his head. "Why?" he asked, not for the first time.
"Like I told you, I don't know. I just...do," I replied after a second. I smiled at him, and leaned toward him. Looking directly into his eyes, I said, solemnly, "Om nom nom nom..."
"I...wow," he said, breaking down into laughter too. I fought to keep my face straight, but failed.
"I still have that too," I stated, giggling.
"Really? Is it with you?" he demanded.
"Yup." I pulled a small, off-white rock out of my pocket, and held it up to him. It was somewhat face-shaped, with the mouth open wide, as if waiting for food. I laughed and handed it to him. He took it and laughed, and said "Om nom nom nom!"
"You're silly," I said, kissing his cheek. He just laughed, and threw his arm over my shoulders, holding me close to him. I rested my head against him, and looked back out at the ocean.
"Seriously though, what do you want to do?" he asked, returning to his first question.
"Hmmm...." I said, thinking. "Let's just go on a random road trip!" I exclaimed after a few moments.
