Talia hoisted her luggage into the trunk of her car and slammed the lid. She was going home and should have been excited to see her family and friends under ordinary circumstances. She wasn't though. She had to make a detour to pick up her oldest sister on the way. They didn't exactly see eye to eye on things. Her mother thought it was a great idea. They could reconnect and bond like her mother always thought they should. Talia wasn't sure about it. They had always been very differant from one another. If she liked baseball then Susan liked cooking. If Talia liked dark haired men then Susan liked red heads. She just didn't see how this little trip was going to change anything. If she could have cancelled then she would have but their father was ill and her mother wanted them all home. She also knew that Susan and her shared a secret that could tear their families apart. Susan always tried to talk about it and Talia wanted to keep it in the past. She was going to make sure that she understood that while she was in her company and at home, there was to be no talk of it at all.
