Bellum
I have this feeling once in a while, that the foot steps I leave behind me are disappearing in a mist of worry and forgetfulness. I don't know where the path I am walking on leads to but I know that what I do find will forever change me.

I have these memories of my past, of the life i used to live, but through my own selflessness was torn away from me by a violent storm.

Let me introduce myself.
I am Luna and this is my story.

"Luna you are up next!" I heard from Sam, the bartender who was refreshing my never ending demand for gin and tonic.
I nodded in recognition and threw back my last glass till after the show was over.
He gave me a sympathetic glance.
"Sam, tell me what you know." Sam was a seer and a damn accurate one at that.
"You will know in due time," he chuckled.
"Damn you and your all seeing eyes."
As I walked over to the piano i heard him call out to me, "Aw shucks darling you know it all for the best," and with that i tuned out not even trying to waste my energy to decifer the meaning of his statements.

I played piano with a detached and at the same time meaningful grace, for I did not play my pieces for the entertainment of others but for the catalyst to my disapearing memories. Each note that i play represents a moment in my past that though i may want to forget i do not allow myself to do so. For not only does the music replinish my memories it tames the hunger dwelling inside me. But only till the end of the song.

The end to my old life and the rebirth of a new creature started on a day of wind and fire.
