Sometimes when you're on a long car ride you get the inclination to gaze out the window, with your hand against your chin, and try to get lost and wonder and think of meaningful phrases and quotes, trying to see if YOUR words could be blown up on a poster and hung in someone's room, YOUR words that someone puzzles over at night. YOUR words that someone writes an award-winning book from. But it never seems to come because, indeed you are searching far too hard. In order to find wisdom, you must seek the dumb. For only in the presence of them will you find what the wise know. And understanding and knowing what your words mean are two very different things.
