irritating IV needle definitely proves I am very much alive and aware of my surroundings. The horrible feeling of feeling like I've lost something keeps nagging at me from inside. This constant train of thought is taking its toll on me. I feel dizzier and dizzier-I can feel myself losing control of my consciousness. A couple seconds later, I feel my eyelids droop over my eyes and a calm silence overtakes me as I slip into the unconscious.

I wake up and I have no idea how long it's been or where I am. I'm awake, but my eyelids are still closed-they don't want to open. I'm sitting down what seems to be a wheelchair, rolling bumpily on... asphalt? A sudden breeze hits me and I realize we're outside. I lurch forward as we hit a pothole. I'm totally incapacitated and brace myself for painful impact with the ground when an arm reaches out and catches me from behind.

"Slow down, we're not in a hurry. She's falling off the damn chair," I hear a frustrated voice from behind me.

"I freaking hate being out here, so exposed. I'm not about to lose my life to protect this invalid," another voice remarks snidely.

"This is your job. You signed up for this. Now quit complaining and do your job before I take you in for failure to comply to orders."

There is silence after that. A strange tension hangs evidently in the atmosphere. Another 20 minutes pass before I no longer feel the cool winds of the outside air. The wheels of my chair have ceased to bounce up and down on the asphalt ground; instead, the wheels turn smoothly along a flatly paved floor. I vaguely realize we must be indoors when the chair stops. Everyone around me has stopped moving and for a few seconds silence pervades through the entire room.

A pair of hands uncover a piece of fabric hanging over my eyes. Apparently they had placed a blindfold on me. No need. My eyes are still closed and for all they know I'm still unconscious.

"Is this the subject for questioning?" This is a new voice. There must be someone else in the room.
