language is a form of communication, as stated by my loyal friend google. i also think music is exactly that, a form of communication. although not many people can understand, not many people find latin easy to learn either. i find music to be not only a leisure activity but as a third language, a form of communication with a composer and myself. a single bar of notes can convey so much meaning. i have recently discovered music to be a somewhat true passion of mine. i've let go of what i think others think and what i think my family thinks. i let go of everything and have played piano just for myself. i have always been surrounded by music from a young age, although it was not necessarily english songs, it is music nonetheless. from listening to my jessica simpson album to my 5sos one, i have enjoyed music as a daily ritual and as my own form of communication. i find that not many people can appreciate how much work, love and dedication goes into song writing, and honestly, i feel sorry for them because only a select few will ever understand music to its full extent. there are so many forms and genres and ways to play and make music, it can never be outdated, it is as universal as shakespeare's romeo and juliet. music helps you get through tough times, enjoy good ones and it will always be there for you when people aren't. you can transform music and give it meaning and life or you can simply enjoy what others have put out there.
