With a beautiful girl and a handsome guy with a great personality (is there really such a guy?) who sweeps the girl off her feet and they live happily ever after. Thats not how is was for us, it started out that way, but there wasn't a happily-ever-after for us.
I remember when we first met, I believe it was a Tuesday when I caught your eye. It started off simple, sweet, at first; text messages, e-mails, and long phone calls.Then we started to hang out, little things at first, going to see a cheesey film one afternoon, taking a walk, or just bumming around. Things were going nice and slow, I wasn't in a hurry to move our relationship along, but there was potential for something long lasting there. I remember the night you looked me in the eye and told me you loved me. Looking back it seems like you must have been kidding me, you couldn't have ment it. To go from being in love to already being halfway out the door, it seems impossible. I was happy, I thought we had something that could last forever and always; thats what you told me.
But things are different now, what was once 'forever and always' turned into silence. We never spoke anymore. I would wait for your phone calls at night but they never came, each text or ring would make me so excited, only to be let down by the called i.d. flashing someone elses name. When I stopped by your house just to hango ut, like old times, I didn't feel welcome there anymore, and I can feel you leaving me. I don't understand what went wrong, did I say something way too honest that made you run and hide like a scared little boy? I once knew you, but not anymore.
